Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role leads the team in servicing customers and manages the store during absences or opposing shifts. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes coaching, recruitment support, and efficient handling of in-store processes including returns, invoicing, and stock management to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and execute service programs.
• Assist store manager to staff the sales counter, especially during peak hours.
• Coach and mentor team members; support goal setting and training.
• Participate in recruiting tasks and interview candidates with management.
• Ensure calls follow company policy and handle store communications.
• Process buy online/ship to store orders and transfers promptly; notify customers of arrivals.
• Ensure accurate invoicing of merchandise, cores, and warranties.
