Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, and store operations in Glasgow, MT. You will lead the team in servicing customers and maintaining the store’s appearance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, and RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom and ensure execution of customer service programs.
• Coordinate staffing at the sales counter during peak hours (lunch, late afternoons, evenings, weekends).
• Assist store manager with setting team goals, providing feedback, coaching and training.
• Participate in hiring by recruiting, interviewing and selecting qualified staff.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy and manage transfers/ship-to-store orders.
• Manage outside purchases and special orders efficiently and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Ensure returns, exchanges, and refunds are processed promptly and correctly.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and communicate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, night security, deposits and store locks.
