Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the store team during the Store Manager’s absence and/or opposing shifts, ensuring excellent service to customers.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure staff execute customer service programs.
• Work with the store manager to ensure the sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager in setting goals, giving feedback, coaching, and training team members.
• Assist in recruiting tasks, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store and transfers are processed timely and communicated to customers.
