Cox Automotive is hiring an Absence & Accommodations Business Partner to support leave, accommodation, and workers' compensation programs across North America.

The role partners with HR, Legal, and leaders to deliver compliant guidance, mitigate risk, and ensure consistent employee experience. Requires visibility into FMLA, ADA, PWFA, FMCSA, and related regulations, with a focus on governance, training, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, healthcare administration, business management, or related discipline and 4 years of related experience in absence management, leave administration, or accommodations.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PWFA, FMCSA, and Workers' Compensation requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison to Legal and Risk Management to identify risks and document decisions.
• Partner with HR Business Partners on policy interpretation and manager coaching.
• Promote consistent application of Absence & Accommodations policies and provide compliance guidance.
• Serve as an employee advocate for complex absence and accommodation requests.
• Create updates, policy changes, and training materials.
• Support governance reviews and cross-functional implementation of outcomes.
