Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Absence & Accommodations Business Partner to support leave, accommodation, and workers' compensation programs across North America. This role partners with HR, Legal, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant administration of FMLA, ADA, PWFA, FMCSA, and related programs.

The successful candidate will educate stakeholders, implement policy changes, develop playbooks, and provide analytics to drive improvements while mitigating risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, healthcare administration, business management, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of absence management, leave administration, or accommodations experience.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PWFA, FMCSA, and workers' compensation requirements.
• Strong Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills and policy interpretation ability.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison to Legal and Risk Management to identify risks and document decisions.
• Partner with HR Business Partners on policy interpretation and manager coaching.
• Promote consistent application of Absence & Accommodations policies and provide training.
• Serve as employee advocate for complex absence and accommodation requests.
• Develop playbooks, job aids, and FAQs for compliance updates.
• Provide dashboards and operational insights to leadership.
