Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring an Absence & Accommodations Business Partner to support compliant leave, accommodations, and workers’ compensation across North America. You will advise HR partners, leaders, Legal, and cross-functional teams on policy interpretation and case resolution.

The role focuses on risk mitigation, regulatory compliance (FMLA, ADA, PWFA, FMCSA), and cross-functional education. Hybrid/remote options available for Eastern/Central time zones; Atlanta, GA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in HR, business, or related field.
• 4+ years of absence management or accommodations experience.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PWFA, FMCSA, WC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison to Legal and Risk Management to identify risks and document decisions.
• Partner with HRBPs and leaders on policy interpretation and coaching.
• Promote consistent policies and compliance across teams.
• Serve as employee advocate for complex absence/accommodation requests.
• Create updates, playbooks, and FAQs for process improvements.
