Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Absence & Accommodations Business Partner to support leave, accommodations, and workers' compensation programs across North America. The role partners with HR, Legal, and leaders to interpret policies and manage complex cases with a strong emphasis on compliance and employee experience.

Location flexibility includes Atlanta, GA hybrid; other Eastern/Central time zone-based candidates may qualify for remote work. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, healthcare administration, business management, or related discipline and 4 years of related experience in absence management, leave administration, or accommodations.
• Strong knowledge of leave programs, ERISA guidelines, and related regulations (FMLA, ADA, PWFA).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience in handling sensitive employee cases with a focus on compliance and employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison to Legal and Risk Management to identify risks and document decisions.
• Interpret Absence & Accommodations policies for HR Partners and leaders; provide guidance.
• Promote consistent policy application and provide compliance support.
• Deliver policy updates, playbooks, and FAQs to audiences across the organization.
• Support cross-functional projects to improve processes and systems.
