Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in the United States is seeking a Bike Technician to build and repair bicycles, provide expert product recommendations, and deliver an outstanding customer experience in our Bike Department.

You will uphold merchandise standards, promote warranty and loyalty programs, and collaborate with teammates to achieve store goals while maintaining safety and store procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience building, repairing, and selling bicycles preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).

Responsibilities

• Create a world-class customer experience by engaging customers in the Bike Department.
• Build and repair bicycles according to established procedures.
• Uphold company standards for merchandise presentation.
• Promote warranty sales, Scorecard loyalty programs, and seasonal promotions.
• Achieve sales goals through selling bikes and related merchandise and assist with assembly when needed.
