Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Cary, NC is seeking a Bike Technician who builds and repairs bicycles while delivering a differentiated customer experience. You will help customers select parts, promote warranty programs, and contribute to sales through strong engagement.

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods; prior bike maintenance experience is preferred. You’ll follow safety procedures and maintain Bike Department presentation to company standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of building, repairing, and selling bicycles preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair bicycles following established procedures.
• Provide passionate customer service and guide product selections.
• Promote programs such as warranty sales and Scorecard.
• Assist with the assembly of exercise equipment as needed.
• Maintain Bike Department presentation and signage to company standards.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; support store team as assigned.
