Specialized in Santa Barbara seeks a Service Technician to deliver expert rider service, perform in-store maintenance, and guide customers through service options.

You will work with riders, both in-store and remote, maintain knowledge of merchandise, assist with bike sales, and uphold cleanliness and POS proficiency. Weekend availability and physical fitness required.

Qualifications

• Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand.
• Excellent communication with riders and team members.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs or more.
• Willingness to work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Meet and interact with riders, assess needs, and offer service options.
• Speak authoritatively on bicycle technical matters and act as the expert.
• Assist customers with a courteous, enthusiastic attitude and deliver WOW service.
• Record service work orders, schedule repairs, and manage expectations.
• Advise on product/service selection with unbiased guidance.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise and assist with bike sales and floor duties.
• Deliver best-in-class rider service and maintain store cleanliness.
• Proficiency with Lightspeed POS and store websites; ensure regular attendance.
