Job summary

Specialized is seeking a Service Technician in Oro Valley/Tucson to engage riders with expert technical knowledge and exceptional service. You will work directly with in-store and remote riders to diagnose needs, provide options, and complete service and tuning tasks.

You will be a brand ambassador, helping riders choose the right services and products while maintaining a high standard of rider care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand.
• Excellent communication with riders and team members.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform related movements.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs and use proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Meet and connect with riders; ask qualifying questions and listen to riders' needs; provide options and advice from a service menu or tune-ups.
• Speak authoritatively on bicycle technical matters; be the expert.
• Assist customers with enthusiastic, courteous service to deliver a wow experience.
• Accurately intake service work orders; schedule repairs; manage rider expectations.
• Assist with bike sales through technical consulting and other bike-floor duties as needed.
• Deliver best-in-class rider service to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat visits.
• Maintain store cleanliness from opening to close, including light janitorial duties.
• Proficiency with Lightspeed POS and store websites.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality.
