Job summary

Specialized Bicycle Components is seeking a Service Technician for the Oro Valley Bicycle location in Tucson, AZ. This role serves as the front-line expert, working with riders in-store and with remote customers to identify needed services and provide quick, frictionless solutions to keep riders on the road.

The technician will partner with staff to deliver exceptional rider service, support sales through technical consulting, and maintain up-to-date product knowledge as new lines are introduced.

Qualifications

• Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand.
• Excellent communication with riders and team members.
• Ability to work weekends as required.
• Stamina to stand for long periods and perform reaching/kneeling actions.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs with proper technique.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders with service needs using the pre-set service menu and tune-ups.
• Explain technical matters authoritatively regarding bicycles.
• Provide enthusiastic, courteous customer service and help meet sales goals.
• Document service work orders accurately and schedule repairs.
• Assist with bike sales through technical consulting and floor duties.
• Maintain brand knowledge and stay current with new products.
