Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Delivery & PMO-oriented professional to support end-to-end data, BI, or digital initiatives. You will maintain delivery plans, track progress, and escalate risks to BI leadership.

The role focuses on operational stability, governance, and continuous improvement across multiple BI teams, including BI Administrators and cross-functional partners. Responsibilities include planning, capacity management, and ensuring delivery against agreed scope, time, and quality.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering data, BI, or digital initiatives on time and to scope.
Experience in delivery, operations, or programme roles within a complex organisation.
PMO or delivery management with Agile delivery experience.
Strong planning, prioritisation, and capacity management.
Experience applying delivery frameworks (Agile, hybrid, or structured).
Demonstrable experience ensuring operational stability, including managing incidents, risks, dependencies, and service continuity.
Experience leading or coordinating operational teams, such as BI Administrators or support functions.
Strong stakeholder communication, with ability to provide clear delivery updates.
Identify delivery inefficiencies and implement improvements to processes or tooling.
Experience using delivery and workflow tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps) to support planning.
Experience supporting multi-team or cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

Supports delivery by maintaining plans, trackers, and status updates.
Tracks milestones, highlights slippage or risks, and escalates issues to BI Managers.
Ensures day-to-day BI operations run smoothly and logs incidents and risks.
Maintains BI operating model and SOPs for consistent ways of working.
Allocates tasks to BI Administrators and escalates performance concerns.
Maintains capacity views and status updates for planning discussions.
Applies delivery frameworks and ensures governance and assurance requirements.
Identifies recurring issues and documents opportunities for improvement.
Supports cross-functional delivery across technical and non-technical groups.
Ensures clear delivery updates and stakeholder communication.
Encourages collaboration and accountability across teams.
