Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a delivery-focused role to support end-to-end BI initiatives. You will maintain delivery plans, monitor milestones, and escalate risks to BI leadership to ensure timely and quality delivery of data and analytics projects.

The role emphasizes applying Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies, capacity planning, and governance practices. You will enable BI Administrators and collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain reliable day-to-day service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting the end-to-end delivery of data, BI, or digital initiatives
• Experience operating in a delivery, operations, or programme role within a complex organisation
• Experience working in a PMO or delivery management function that uses agile delivery methodologies
• Strong planning, prioritisation and capacity management skills
• Experience designing or applying delivery frameworks (Agile, hybrid, or structured)
• Experience ensuring operational stability, including incident and risk management
• Experience leading or coordinating operational teams to deliver day-to-day service
• Strong stakeholder communication to provide clear delivery updates and manage expectations
• Ability to identify delivery inefficiencies and implement improvements
• Experience using delivery tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps) for planning and transparency
• Experience coordinating multi-team or cross-functional delivery

Responsibilities

• Maintains delivery plans, tracks progress against milestones, and escalates issues to BI Managers.
• Monitors operational activities, logs incidents and risks, and ensures escalation processes are followed.
• Ensures continuity of service and visibility of delivery health to BI leadership.
• Applies the BI operating model and SOPs to support consistent ways of working.
• Allocates day-to-day tasks to BI Administrators and clarifies priorities.
• Maintains delivery trackers, capacity views, and status updates for planning discussions.
• Applies agreed delivery frameworks and ensures governance and assurance requirements are met.
• Identifies recurring issues and documents improvement opportunities for BI leadership.
