Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician Shift Supervisor for our Detox and Residential treatment facility in Indianapolis, IN. The role oversees daily residential operations, supports the BHT team, and maintains a warm recovery environment.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license with CPR certification preferred. If in recovery, at least one year of sobriety is required; strong leadership and empathy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
