Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a shift supervisor for first shift (7am-3pm) to support medical and clinical teams across admissions, transportation, meals, and supervision. You will interact with clients to foster a respectful recovery setting and ensure safety for both clients and staff.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and a minimum of one year sobriety if in recovery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required.
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
• Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality.
• Dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.).
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment.
• Monitor clients and enforce all policies to ensure safety of clients and staff.
• Record and escalate any critical communications/incidents in a timely manner.
• Fulfill administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support).
• Oversee all BHTs on your shift and provide training and support.
