Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Behavioral Health Technician Shift Supervisor to oversee daily residential operations, supervise staff, and maintain a warm recovery environment for residents.

This role requires at least a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, CPR preferred, and strong leadership with compassionate boundaries to support clients through detox and residential programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transportation, meals, medications).
• Train and support BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale to maintain a positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with all Avenues rules and procedures.
