Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Lead Behavioral Health Technician to oversee daily residential operations, intake, supervision, and client engagement. This role leads the BHT team, ensuring safety, compliance, and a warm recovery environment.

You will train the BHT team, escalate crises, coordinate transportation and meals, and uphold all policies. A strong leadership presence and compassionate, boundary-driven approach are essential to support residents on their path to

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities

Manage all daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications, etc.).
Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
