The Sales Consultant will manage an established sales territory, including selling, servicing, merchandising, and handling accounts receivable tasks as needed by the position.

The role requires a BA/BS degree or related industry experience, excellent verbal and written communication, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• BA/BS college degree or related industry experience.
• Prior route sales experience (highly preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Goals and results driven.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent customer contact across the territory.
• Plan and execute sales initiatives.
• Handle all customer related issues in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Full understanding of products and pricing schedules; make effective sales presentations.
• Identify and nurture new accounts.
• Use POS and merchandising basics to enhance selling efforts.
• Perform reliable inventory checks and communicate properly to minimize order mistakes.
• Adhere to company policies and handle paperwork timely.
