Job summary

You will visit customer locations, present products, manage inventory and promotions, and work with management to meet distribution, volume and visibility goals while delivering exceptional service on a fast-paced route.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Sales.
• Basic PC skills including MS Office and presentation software.
• Must be a results-oriented professional with strong communication and customer service.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
• Analytic and reporting skills.
• Sound judgement and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Call on accounts and manage daily routes with an established pattern.
• Analyze accounts and identify opportunities; ensure national account compliance where applicable.
• Deliver professional sales presentations highlighting products and promotions.
• Maintain product levels by inventory checks and restocking as allowed.
• Educate staff on priority brands via trainings.
• Manage receivables and communicate about aging balances.
• Deliver products and handle customer issues; escalate as needed.
• Achieve sales and merchandising objectives.
• Preplan to achieve objectives with pricing and product programming insights.
• Monitor inventory and flag demand fluctuations.
