Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Minnesota Beer, LLC is seeking a Sales Representative to cultivate and grow account relationships across Minneapolis and surrounding markets. This role emphasizes customer service, strategic selling, and effective communication to achieve supplier and company objectives.

You will drive to customer locations, present products, manage shelves, and participate in promotions while maintaining compliance and high brand visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales.
• Proficient with MS Office and presentation software.
• Strong verbal and written communication with diplomacy and customer service focus.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team, meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Calls on accounts and covers daily routes with an established routing pattern.
• Analyzes account base, identifies opportunities, and ensures account compliance as applicable.
• Delivers professional sales presentations balancing supplier and customer needs.
• Maintains product levels by restocking shelves where permissible.
• Educates staff on priority brands through training seminars.
• Manages account receivables and communicates on aged balances.
• Delivers products to customers and handles issues or complaints.
• Works to achieve distribution, volume and activity goals.
• Maintains brand visibility with POS materials and pricing information.
• Obtains payments and supports opening of new accounts with Field Sales Manager.
