Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a Sales Representative to advance beverage sales across local accounts in our territory. You will plan territory, secure new business, and support existing customers through merchandising and proactive account service.

The role emphasizes building relationships, understanding market trends, and meeting company objectives. Local travel is required; full-time hours with potential bonuses and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: High School diploma or GED; CSP training; Cicerone level 1 within 1 year; 2+ years sales in beverage industry.
• Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory expenses per policy.
• Interact with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers.
• Support rotating and merchandising of product.
• Complete required training to improve performance.
• Maintain industry knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic, food journals and trends.
• Create opportunities and develop programs for customers.
• Submit reports and expense logs by due date.
• Sell Columbia Distributing portfolio in assigned accounts.
• Achieve MVP standards and increase distribution.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual business objectives.
