Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a Sales Representative to advance beverage sales in assigned markets. You will plan territories, merchandise, and secure new and existing accounts while working with suppliers to meet company objectives.

The role requires strong communication, time management, and relationship-building skills, with travel to local accounts and a focus on distributing the Columbia Distributing portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Sales Fundamentals including CSP training/certification required upon hiring; CSP preferred.
• Cicerone level one certification required within one year of start date.
• Minimum two years beverage sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory expenses per policy.
• Interact respectfully with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers.
• Support rotating and merchandising of product.
• Complete all required training to improve performance.
• Maintain knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic, food journals, trends and market share.
• Create opportunities and develop customer programs.
• Submit required reporting, MVPs, expense and mileage logs by due dates.
• Sell Columbia Distributing portfolio in all accounts.
• Achieve MVP and distribution goals across accounts.
• Drive monthly, quarterly and annual business objectives.
