Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a driven Sales Representative to grow beverage distribution in the assigned territory. You will cultivate relationships, secure new business, and coordinate with internal teams to meet supplier and company objectives.

The role demands beverage sales experience, a valid driver’s license, strong communication, and solid planning skills with willingness to travel locally. Full-time position with incentive opportunities based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Sales Fundamentals with CSP training and certification required on hire.
• Cicerone level 1 certification required within 1 year of start date.
• Minimum two years of beverage industry sales experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory expenses per policy and drive cost efficiencies.
• Interact respectfully with suppliers, customers and internal teams.
• Support merchandising and rotation of products in accounts.
• Complete required training to improve performance.
• Maintain knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic products and market trends.
• Create opportunities and programs for the customer base.
• Submit reports, preplans, trackers and market surveys on time.
• Sell the Columbia Distributing portfolio across accounts.
• Maintain visibility in accounts above competition levels.
• Increase core brand distribution above baseline throughout the year.
• Achieve MVP standards in most surveyed accounts and exceed in some.
