Job summary

Johnson Brothers, a leading family-owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer, seeks a driven salesperson to grow our established customer base in Cedar Falls, IA. This full-time role focuses on consultative B2B selling, relationship building, and expanding presence with key accounts in the local territory.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS or related experience, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Qualifications

• BA/BS college degree or related industry experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Goals and results driven.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
• Local candidates preferred (no relocation package).
• Desire to sell and capacity to create professional presentations.
• Prior sales experience and/or prior wine and spirits industry sales preferred.
• Availability to work outside 8-5 schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Territory Management: Ensure consistent customer contact, plan and execute sales initiatives, handle customer issues promptly.
• Selling: Understand products/prices, make effective presentations, achieve company objectives, grow business, nurture accounts.
• Resources: Use POS, know deals/programs/initiatives.
• Servicing: Conduct reliable customer service, face-to-face interactions.
• Administration: Follow company policies and handle paperwork timely.
