Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies is seeking a Director of Business Development for its Beverage Group to pursue new clients nationwide. You will identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and lead growth initiatives across food & beverage distribution and cold storage sectors.

The role requires 5+ years in BD, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong familiarity with logistics, design-build, and project execution.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in new business development, preferably in food & beverage distribution or cold storage
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain or related)
Knowledge of cold chain logistics and energy-efficient systems
Proven ability to identify opportunities, build partnerships and drive growth
CRM software proficiency (Salesforce, Pipedrive, MS Dynamics)

Responsibilities

Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals in food/beverage distribution or cold storage
Create and expand ARCO's footprint and top-of-mind awareness
Cultivate relationships with distributors and logistics providers
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue goals
Stay ahead of trends in the food/beverage industry
Coordinate with internal teams to align BD with design-build and execution goals
Attend trade shows and association meetings to network with clients
Travel as needed, up to 40%
