Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive growth in a designated territory across our spirits portfolio. You will partner with off-premise accounts to increase volume and distribution while educating customers on our brands.

The role emphasizes building strong customer relationships, leading distributor activity, and using data to push for market share gains. Travel within the territory and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 year in field sales in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries; internships or college sales experience acceptable.
• Results Driven: proven volume achievements and ability to hit distribution/promotional goals.
• Technical Savvy: use of sales data analytics/tools to drive results and identify trends.
• Mobility: valid driver's license and ability to travel in territory.
• Schedule: flexible to work evenings/weekends.
• Location: live in or near territory.
• Expenses: ability to cover expenses with reimbursement.
• Compliance: solicitor’s permit may be required in any state.

Responsibilities

• Crafting Solutions for Growth: implement and manage solutions to boost business for assigned accounts.
• Brand Building: use trends to educate customers and grow brand share.
• Distribution: lead distributors with in-store selling and account execution.
• Volume Objectives: help achieve product volume goals in portfolio.
• Strategic Programs: execute programs for distribution, merchandising and promotions.
• Rapport Building: develop mutual trust with customers.
• Communication & Collaboration: act as the communication lead between customers, wholesalers and internal teams.
• KPI Monitoring: track KPIs to ensure goals are met.
