Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a maintenance technician for utility-scale BESS power plants. You will monitor SCADA, assist commissioning, perform troubleshooting, and complete PM tasks across AC/DC systems with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Role requires strong electrical knowledge, ability to work in challenging environments, and adherence to LOTO procedures. Valid driver’s license and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Electrical certifications, state, journeyman, etc. a plus.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor BESS Plant operation via SCADA and perform commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on AC/DC BESS systems, inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
• Follow safety procedures including Lockout Tagout and Job Hazard Analysis.
• Maintain PM work documentation and use CMMS for work orders.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and ensure timely reporting.
• Support procurement processes and verify site documentation and reports.
