Job summary

NovaSource Power Services in Texas seeks a field technician to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale BESS power plants. You will monitor plant performance via SCADA, commission, test, inspect, troubleshoot and repair AC/DC systems, including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and metering equipment.

Requirements include 2+ years in a related role or journeyman certification, strong safety discipline, ability to read electrical schematics, proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college/technical degree preferred.
• Journeyman/ electrical certifications are a plus.
• Strong safety culture and knowledge of LOTO, arc flash, and codes.
• Experience with SCADA, CMMS and reading electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly KPIs and maintenance to optimize plant efficiency.
• Promote safe work environment and adherence to protocols.
• Complete maintenance tasks, inspections, and testing per procedures.
• Coordinate on-site projects and document activities and reports.
