Job summary

Los Alamos National Security LLC is seeking an HR Employee Service Representative to be the primary contact for benefits inquiries and HR support. You will process enrollments, handle benefits transactions, and maintain records with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and service excellence.

This telework-friendly role requires strong communication, discretion with confidential information, and proficiency with HRIS and case-management tools. Occasional onsite work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years related experience.
• Experience with benefits programs and regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with HRIS/HCM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Respond to benefits questions via phone, email, HR portal and in person; advise on eligibility, coverage, and claims.
• Process benefits transactions (enrollment, coverage changes, lifecycle events) and maintain accurate records.
• Administer benefits systems and support communications (plan descriptions, employee materials).
• Support high-volume benefit activities, including annual enrollment and other major benefit initiatives.
• Coordinate with benefit vendors and internal partners to resolve enrollment, eligibility, coverage, and claims-related issues.
