Job summary

Honor is seeking a detail-oriented People Operations Senior Specialist, Benefits to administer and enhance health and welfare, retirement, wellness, and leave programs, ensuring a superior employee experience.

You will lead annual open enrollment, coordinate with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders, and develop clear benefits communications to help employees understand and maximize their benefits. You will also analyze benefits data to inform program improvements and cost management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-state benefits experience (Health & Welfare, 401(k)).
• 3+ years leave administration and workers' compensation administration.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot, lookups, data analysis).
• Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems; Dayforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer health, welfare, retirement, wellness, and leave programs; ensure quality employee experience.
• Lead the annual open enrollment process, including vendor coordination, communications, system configuration, testing, and post-enrollment reconciliation.
• Develop clear, engaging benefits communications and educate employees on their benefits.
• Facilitate benefits orientation for new hires and respond to benefits inquiries.
• Coordinate with Payroll, HRIS, Finance, and vendors to ensure accurate deductions, eligibility, enrollments, invoices, and reconciliations.
• Conduct benefits audits, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage Leave Administration for HQ and Workers’ Compensation for HQ.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, state leave laws, and retirement-plan requirements.
