Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC seeks a Benefits Operations Specialist to administer health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, and wellbeing programs. You will support compliance activities, vendor relationships, and Open Enrollment initiatives while assisting with leave programs.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of hands-on benefits experience, including eligibility, enrollments, life events, audits, and HRIS updates. Prior exposure to multi-carrier benefits is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of direct, hands-on employee benefits administration experience.
• Experience with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA, ADA regulations is preferred.
• Experience with Open Enrollment and employee communications.

Responsibilities

• Administer health and welfare benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans.
• Manage enrollments, life events, eligibility updates, and benefit changes.
• Support annual Open Enrollment planning, testing, communications, and post-enrollment audits.
• Collaborate with benefit carriers, brokers, and vendors to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
• Perform benefits data audits, verifications, and reconciliations across HRIS and carrier systems.
• Ensure compliance activities related to ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA, and ADA are supported.
