Job summary

Verily Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Benefits Program Manager to oversee daily administration of health, welfare, and 401(k) plans, and to lead the annual open enrollment process. This role requires deep technical expertise and independent vendor management.

You will ensure ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA compliance, manage relationships with carriers and TPA, reconcile invoices, and communicate complex benefits concepts to employees in a clear, actionable way.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience administering employee benefits programs.
• Experience leading the annual benefits open enrollment process.
• Hands-on compliance experience managing ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, and 401(k) plan requirements (e.g., Form 5500 filings and nondiscrimination testing).
• Experience utilizing HRIS and benefits administration software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration for health, welfare, and 401(k) plans, serving as the escalation point for complex claims, eligibility, and plan interpretation issues.
• Lead the end-to-end annual open enrollment process from plan changes through reconciliation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all benefit offerings (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500).
• Manage relationships with insurance carriers, TPAs, and 401(k) recordkeepers; lead vendor evaluations and renewals.
• Reconcile monthly benefit invoices, analyze plan performance, and deliver employee education and budgeting communications.
