Job summary
Golden Entertainment is seeking a Benefits & LOA Manager to lead administration, compliance, and delivery of Team Member benefits and leave programs. You will own Workday Benefits and Absence Management, collaborate across HR, Payroll, HRIS, Finance, Legal, and external vendors, and ensure programs align with the total rewards strategy.
The role requires leadership experience, deep benefits knowledge, and strong communication to support employee engagement and compliance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in benefits and leave administration with leadership experience.
- 3+ years configuring Workday Benefits and Absence Management.
- Hospitality, gaming, or multi-location experience preferred.
- Knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA and state leave laws.
- Experience configuring Workday eligibility rules, enrollment workflows, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead administration and continuous improvement of benefits and leave programs.
- Owner for Workday Benefits and Absence Management configuration and processes.
- Oversee health, welfare, retirement, wellness, and leave programs.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, HRIS, Legal, Finance, IT, and vendors.
- Manage vendor relationships, billing, and enrollment planning.
- Provide guidance for complex benefits issues and escalations.
- Develop policies, dashboards, and training materials.
- Monitor legislation and compliance, recommend enhancements.
- Lead system testing and cross-functional projects.
- Deliver communications and training for team members and managers.
