Job summary

Golden Entertainment LLC in Las Vegas is seeking a Benefits & LOA Manager to lead the administration, compliance, and delivery of Team Member benefits and leave programs. You will own Workday Benefits and Absence Management and collaborate with HR, Payroll, HRIS, Legal, and Finance to ensure compliant, employee-focused programs aligned with the company’s total rewards strategy.

The role requires 5+ years in benefits and leave administration with leadership experience, and 3+ years configuring

Qualifications

• 5+ years in benefits and leave administration with leadership or supervisory responsibilities
• 3+ years configuring and administering Workday Benefits and Absence Management
• Hospitality, gaming, or multi-location operational experience preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and state leave laws
• Experience configuring eligibility rules, benefit events, enrollment workflows, absence plans, accrual schedules, and Workday integrations
• Experience leading Workday annual enrollment configuration, testing, and post-deployment validation
• Demonstrated experience managing benefit plans, leave programs, and vendor relationships
• Strong analytical, organizational, project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Workday reporting tools

Responsibilities

• Lead administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of benefits and leave programs
• Own Workday Benefits and Absence Management configuration and processes
• Oversee health, welfare, retirement, wellness, and leave programs, including various leave laws
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, HRIS, Legal, Finance, IT, and vendors for compliant program delivery
• Manage vendor relationships, audits, payroll deductions, and enrollment activities
• Provide guidance on complex benefits and leave matters and resolve escalations
• Develop policies, procedures, training materials, and dashboards for operations
• Monitor regulatory changes, industry trends, and program utilization to propose enhancements
• Lead system testing, implementation, and cross-functional projects related to benefits and leave
• Create communications and training resources to promote comprehensive benefits usage
• Provide cross-functional support for Benefits, Leave of Absence, and Workers' Compensation
