Job summary

Interstates is seeking a Benefits Administration and Compliance Analyst to manage the administration, compliance, and communication of employee benefit programs. This role researches state and federal requirements, supports audits, analyzes enrollment data, and assists with benefits communications and leave processes.

The role emphasizes integrity, accuracy, and collaboration across HR and payroll, with UKG experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in benefits administration, compliance, HR operations, or related analytical role.
• Strong understanding of employee benefits, leave administration, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and prepare reports.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to employee benefits and leave administration.
• Support internal audit activities including monthly and quarterly audits.
• Compile, analyze, and report benefits data (enrollment analytics, open enrollment statistics).
• Support benefits communication campaigns (annual campaigns, mental health awareness, open enrollment).
• Provide backup for benefits administration in UKG and FMLA/leave administration.
