Job summary

Interstates is seeking a Benefits Administration and Compliance Analyst to support administration, compliance, and communication of employee benefits programs. This role handles state and federal compliance, audits, enrollment analytics, and benefits data reporting.

You will back up UKG-based processes and leave administration while enabling effective benefits communication campaigns. Work is in a blended office/construction environment with travel up to 10%, and a focus on accuracy,

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years’ experience in benefits administration, compliance, HR operations, or related analytical role.
• Strong understanding of employee benefits, leave administration, and applicable state/federal regulations.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Research and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to employee benefits and leave administration.
• Support internal audit activities (monthly, quarterly, and annual audits).
• Compile, analyze, and report benefits data (enrollment analytics, open enrollment).
• Support benefits communication campaigns (annual/preventative, semi-annual campaigns, mental health awareness).
• Provide backup support for benefits administration in UKG and FMLA/leave administration.
• Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding related to benefits.
