Job summary

Interstates is seeking a Benefits Administration and Compliance Analyst to manage benefits compliance, data analysis, and communication campaigns. The role requires experience with state/federal regulations, audits, and benefits data reporting.

You will support UKG-based administration, FMLA leaves, and new-hire onboarding related to benefits. With 3-5+ years in the field, you’ll contribute to a collaborative, culture-driven team that values integrity and employee well-being, offering

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years’ experience in benefits administration, compliance, HR operations, or related analytical role
• Strong understanding of employee benefits, leave administration, and applicable state and federal regulations
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and prepare reports
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably UKG
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Responsibilities

• Research and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to employee benefits and leave administration
• Support internal audit activities, including monthly benefits audits and annual third-party audits
• Compile, analyze, and report benefits data (enrollment analytics, open enrollment stats)
• Support benefits communication campaigns (annual/preventative, financial, mental health, open enrollment)
• Provide backup for benefits administration in UKG and FMLA leave administration
• Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding related to benefits
