Interstates is seeking a Benefits Administration and Compliance Analyst to support administration, compliance, and communication of employee benefit programs. You will research and maintain state and federal requirements, assist with audits, analyze enrollment data, and back up benefits administration and leave processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years’ experience in benefits administration, compliance, HR operations, or related analytical role.
• Strong understanding of employee benefits, leave administration, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and prepare reports.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to employee benefits and leave administration, including: pay transparency, state paid family and medical leave, state paid sick leave, state employment changes.
• Support internal audit activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual audits for Health and Welfare, 401(k), and Contractor’s Plan.
• Compile, analyze, and report benefits data (enrollment analytics, open enrollment statistics, ad hoc reporting).
• Support benefits communication campaigns (annual preventative, semi-annual financial, mental health awareness, open enrollment).
• Provide backup support for benefits administration in UKG and leave administration; assist with new hire benefits onboarding.
