Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
• Four years of benefits administration experience preferred.
• Strong customer-service orientation with a collaborative approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administers company benefit programs and supports development and improvement efforts.
• Serves as day-to-day contact for third-party administrators and maintains records and procedures.
• Resolves employee and retiree benefit inquiries and issues with field HR partners.
• Maintains relationships with plan providers and ensures data transmission with vendors.
• Monitors integrations between HRIS and external benefit vendors to ensure data accuracy.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance benefit programs and employee experience.
• Designs controls for data quality, compliance and operational effectiveness.
• Supports regulatory compliance activities (ACA, nondiscrimination testing, etc.) and audits.
• Leads moderately complex projects (e.g., annual enrollment) under supervision.
• Collaborates on benefit communications to improve engagement; supports training and change management.
• Processes corrections, benefit transactions, audits, and reconciliations with accuracy.
• Supports reporting and documentation to improve administration.
