Job summary

Cars Commerce Inc. is seeking a Benefits Analyst to administer U.S. and Canada benefits and leave programs within Total Rewards, ensuring accurate enrollments, deductions, and compliance. You’ll be the primary contact for employees, HRBPs, Payroll, and vendors on benefits and leaves.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, data‑driven decision making, and leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, with interaction across multiple payroll and HR functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience administering employee benefits and/or leaves of absence.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ACA, COBRA, ERISA basics, and state paid leave and paid sick requirements.
• Hands-on experience with an HRIS; Workday benefits configuration is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivots, data reconciliation).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage recurring deadlines (payroll cutoffs, invoicing, enrollment windows).
• Clear written and verbal communication with a service mindset and discretion for confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Administer self-funded medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, commuter, COBRA, and 401(k) programs for U.S. and Canadian employees.
• Configure and maintain benefits setup in Workday and coordinate with HRIS on releases and testing.
• Lead the annual open enrollment cycle, including testing and employee support.
• Generate and process billing and invoices; ensure compliance with plan parameters and vendor specs.
• Support ACA compliance reporting and leave laws; manage Canadian benefits alongside U.S. programs.
• Manage LOA commissions with Payroll to ensure accurate payouts.
• Own intranet content for benefits and run a benefits communications calendar.
