Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of benefits administration experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and interact with employees, HR partners, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders while influencing outcomes.
• Strong customer-service orientation with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
• Superior analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, highly-driven and self-directed; able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Ability to establish project plans and manage internal resources and third parties/vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office products, especially advanced Excel.
• Commitment to professional development (CEBS, SPHR/PHR, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Administers benefits programs and handles day-to-day plan operations.
• Contacts third-party administrators and ensures efficient records maintenance.
• Resolves employee/retiree benefit issues escalated by HR partners.
• Monitors integrations between HRIS, vendors, carriers, and payroll.
• Identifies opportunities to improve benefit value and processes.
• Designs controls for data quality, compliance, and operations.
• Supports regulatory compliance activities and audits (ACA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA).
• Leads enrollment-related projects under supervision.
• Collaborates on benefit communications to boost engagement.
• Processes corrections, benefit transactions, audits, and reconciliations.
• Performs ongoing reporting and data analysis to improve administration.
