Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years with the Department of Social Services in Customer Services.
• Experience working with customers and handling inquiries.
• Ability to liaise with attorneys, agencies and investigate fraud-related cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions about overpayments and repayment plans.
• Serve as liaison to prosecuting attorneys’ offices and other agencies.
• Conduct pre-employment background checks on DSS hires.
• Work independently under general administrative direction.
• Compile and analyze information on suspected fraudulent receipt of benefits.
• Examine records to gather information on violations of laws and regulations.
• Use databases to enter, update, and track complaints and investigations.
• Complete monthly vehicle expense logs and order office supplies.
• Perform other related work as assigned.
