Job summary

The State of Missouri's Family Support Division is seeking Benefit Program Technicians to join the Buchanan County Customer Service Center in St. Joseph, MO.

You will interview applicants for eligibility, interpret program policies, and communicate with participants to clarify benefits and required documentation. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of customer service experience, or a Bachelor's degree.

The Family Support Division (FSD) is seeking applications for Benefit Program Technicians. These positions will be located in the Buchanan County Customer Service Center based at 525 Jules St, Ste 127 St. Joseph, MO.

Daily tasks include but are not limited to completing eligibility interviews, interpreting policy and procedure to answer participant questions, contact participants by phone to discuss their eligibility, and review documentation to apply to Family Support Division’s eligibility systems.

In order to succeed in this role, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least four years of customer service experience OR have a Bachelor’s Degree.
