Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health seeks a qualified professional to provide cognitive behavioral therapy and related services to patients under the guidance of the clinical leadership team. The role includes supervision participation, progress communication, and documenting outcomes within the medical record.

The ideal candidate has CBT experience and the required Bachelor’s degree, plus the Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential when applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent) if working in Addiction Recovery program.
• Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment (CBT) experience, ~12 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups, to patients under supervision of the Clinical Leader.
• Participate in supervision sessions and communicate patient progress and adjustments needed to care plan.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust as needed, in consultation with Clinical Leader.
• Document mental health services according to regulations and payer expectations within the medical record, including treatment plans and assessments.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and assist in treatment plan development.
• Communicate treatment interventions and support needs to applicable interdisciplinary team members and support systems.
• Offer training support to direct care team members unfamiliar with CBT interventions.
• Provide training to patients' families on CBT interventions and behavioral plans.
• Ensure patient safety and facility safety; assist with staffing/scheduling changes as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned and pursue ongoing learning opportunities.
