Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health in Nashville is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support CBT interventions within treatment programs. You will assess behavior functions, design and implement individualized plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include delivering CBT-based group and individual services, monitoring progress with outcome measures, documenting care in the medical record, and providing training to patients and support persons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or related area.
• Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent) for Addiction Recovery programs.
• 1+ year CBT experience preferred.
• Clinical care, human services, or educational experience may apply.
• Residential programs may require a current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide CBT and other therapeutic services including groups.
• Participate in supervision sessions and communicate patient progress to care teams.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust as needed.
• Document mental health services and treatment plans in the medical record.
• Provide training to patients and support persons on CBT interventions.
• Support staffing decisions and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
