Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support delivery of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) within our treatment programs in Seattle.

The role involves assessing behaviors, developing individualized plans, training patients and support persons, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. You will monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and ensure timely documentation and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required (human services, psychology, social work, or related field).
• Must hold a valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent).
• Relevant CBT experience (12 months preferred).
• Residential programs require a current driver’s license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups, to patients, under supervision to address patient goals.
• Participate in supervision sessions and communicate patient progress and care plan adjustments.
• Monitor intervention effectiveness and adjust as needed in consultation with Clinical leader.
• Document mental health services per regulations and payer expectations in patient records.
