We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician working in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Arlington, Texas, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma (or GED) located in Arlington, TX?

Centria Health is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families with autism to implement learning programs, collect data on target behaviors, communicate with stakeholders, maintain client confidentiality, and regularly meet with their direct leader. You will build trust and care with the child and their family in their home setting, within 15 minutes from where you reside.

Our comprehensive paid behavioral health training will prepare you to directly impact the developmental growth of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and guide you to support your assigned child through their unique development opportunities, including managing potentially aggressive reactions. Under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

What your day will look like:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting teaching techniques to various physical and mental behaviors, understanding some patient styles may be more confrontational than others.
• Partnering with a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, which may include physical and mental exercises to support your assigned child.
• Using evidence-based techniques to actively engage with children through physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and sometimes carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
