We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry, located in Haymarket, Virginia, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma or GED, residing in Haymarket, VA?

Centria Health seeks Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families with autism, implementing learning programs, collecting data, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and meeting regularly with a supervisor. You will build trust within the child's home environment, which is within 15 minutes from your residence.

Our paid behavioral health training will prepare you to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), guiding their developmental growth and managing challenging behaviors under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

What your day will look like:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to individual needs.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement personalized behavioral intervention plans.
• Using evidence-based techniques to engage children through physical activities, which may include standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
