We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry, located in Flower Mound, Texas, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma (or GED) residing in Flower Mound, TX?

Centria Health is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing learning programs, collecting behavioral data, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and meeting regularly with your supervisor. You will build trust and rapport with children and their families in their home setting within 15 minutes of your residence.

Our comprehensive paid behavioral health training will prepare you to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), guiding their developmental growth and managing challenging behaviors under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

What your day will look like:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, which may include physical and mental exercises.
• Engaging actively with children through physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and sometimes carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
